Synopsis

SEXY BOMB

This video questions the excluding perspective of an spectator who dehumanizes and stereotypes when facing an “other” who’s different in gender, race, culture or religion; a perspective which “legitimizes” the violence exerted towards that “other” fellowman.

Synopsis:
The video shows a now-a-days woman who, with the use of a simple piece of attire (a sweater,) guides the viewer through a temporary and cultural trip across the different moments of her identity. It begins with her own image- a modern, occidental woman who turns into a catholic figure and then takes off and rearranges the sweater she turns into a fedayine, revealing an unexpected identity: the final arrangements in the preparation of a suicide bomber.
