HOT SAUCE & MAGNOLIAS:
A Southern Experience
Artists living in the American South share a particular voice that draws from a combination of unique influences and contradictions. A recipe thick as the woods, heat, and accents combined with history, tradition, and modern technology, creates a story that reflects a culture that is rarely captured. Plugged Art Collective has selected artists living and working in the American South to share their observations, and experiences in Hot Sauce & Magnolias: A Southern Experience.
Each short video selected by Plugged Art Collective is original in its use of the medium, with lengths up to 5 minutes, and all genres including, but not limited to: experimental, narrative, documentary, animation. Plugged Art Collective is a grass roots artist run organization that promotes contemporary art since 2006 at no charge to the artists.
